We are incredibly excited to officially share that Anne Wu will be transitioning into her new role as co-founder and President of HackMentalHealth.
Anne has led numerous cross-functional efforts at HackMentalHealth since joining the organization as a volunteer at the inaugural hackathon in 2018. Most recently, Anne organized our largest mental health hackathon at UCSF where 500+ participants attended with 300+ more on the waitlist. Anne’s background in management consulting, business operations and strategy, and community engagement is an invaluable addition to HackMentalHealth and its growth as an organization. More importantly, her deep personal connection to mental health empowers her to lead the team with unparalleled passion, energy, and empathy.
This leadership change comes at a very exciting time for HMH. We’ve had a remarkable first year with four successful hackathons, numerous events, and 5,000+ members in our community. As our organization continues to mature, we have many lessons to take with us. Bringing Anne onboard to co-lead is an integral next step for the organization as we expand and mature our initiatives, and I am looking forward to working alongside her as I continue my role as co-founder and CEO of HackMentalHealth.
Please join me in congratulating Anne!
