CODE OF CONDUCT
Teams can have a minimum of 2, and maximum of 5 people. Teams can be formed prior to the event, but no designing, coding, or making is allowed until the event begins (more below). Feel free to research and get inspired, though!
Judging for projects will take place, with the following criteria:
- How impactful and relevant is the problem? (15)
- How creative and unique is the solution? (25)
- How valuable and inclusive is the solution for users and/or communities? (25)
- How viable is the solution from a business point of view? (15)
- How feasible is the solution from a technological point of view? (15)
All hackathon participants own full rights to their work.
Think outside the box (and screen). Projects ideas can be a service, app, website, physical product, or any combination of the above. Teams can pitch their ideas by sharing slideshows, demoing on a screen, acting out their idea, or by sharing whatever other kind of prototype has been created.
Each team will have 3 minutes to pitch their ideas to the judges.
TIME AND PLACE OF WORK
Work may be done on or off site. We encourage you to be at the event while the venue is open, but you are free to work outside of operating hours of the venue. Please remember to sleep.
All work on your team must be your own.
Your team must be present at the event to submit and present your work. Teams not present will forfeit any winnings and their prizes will be awarded to another team.
